As reported by the Tenerife Association of Passenger Fleet Shipowners, almost one million people were transported by the region’s vessels during the summer season of 2022 alone. It is noted that today there are about 60 shipping companies operating in Tenerife, managing 150 vessels capable of transporting up to 3 million people. The association plans to increase the seasonal cruise tourist flow around Tenerife’s waterways by 100-200 thousand passengers.
